They sound quite fibrous. I like using hemp to weave with. Thanks for including me on your blog list.
Yes, having a degree in Tapestry is quite unusual I suppose. I didn't actually weave much when in the Tapestry department - I worked in a lot of other media during my degree years. I decided, many years later, to return to it and give it another go.

The room has now been repainted. And now I am decluttering to get some more head space..

Best wishes
SteveSteve Bremnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10103426051883710745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8266127076047688440.post-33419307524030176132009-06-17T19:01:55.472+01:002009-06-17T19:01:55.472+01:00Hello Steve, the Swedish seem to use paper yarns f...Hello Steve, the Swedish seem to use paper yarns for weaving "cloth".

Good for you that you got around to another blog post!

I have included you in my list of UK weavers who blog that you can find via a link on my blog, top right. I know you aren't weaving much, but from what I've seen you've got some interesting ideas and you're the only person I think I know with a degree in Tapestry weaving.

As and when you get back to it I'll be interested to see what you're doing. I'm sure that the right workspace makes a big difference. I like white walls.Dorothyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06488670649558382921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8266127076047688440.post-69703268587998346792009-06-11T11:21:31.071+01:002009-06-11T11:21:31.071+01:00Hello Jennifer

The process of re-furnishing the room from its empty state was really useful. I was able to consider what was required and what was clutter..
SteveSteve Bremnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10103426051883710745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8266127076047688440.post-39867422151235301392009-06-05T14:40:28.613+01:002009-06-05T14:40:28.613+01:00Hello Steve!
